5. Mozart's Birthplace

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on the 27 of January, 1756 and he lived with his family in the Getreidegasse, before they moved to the residence mentioned earlier.

In Mozart’s birthplace there is a museum, where you can see some of his instruments, portraits of the family and letters. Mozart died in Vienna in 1791 at the age of 35 from rheumatic fever. He was buried in a commoner's grave because at that time he was not famous and very poor.
