The Original Sound of Music Tour
The Sound of Music Tour was created by the first visitors to Salzburg after the film was released. Many people asked where the Trapp villa was, the house on the lake, the Abbey etc., and the summer house must be somewhere!
The drivers from Panorama Tours had been involved with the filming for months so they were able to show those first visitors all the locations.
Thus was the birth of an unforgettable journey that is now repeated by guests daily from all over the world, year after year. The Sound of Music Tour has matured to an extensive tour of the city and the Lake District, Salzkammergut, to the places where the film "The Sound of Music" and also the Sound of Christmas were made.
